St Luke's UMC is seeking non-profit partners whose drive and desire is to serve our larger community of South Kansas City in new and exciting ways. We welcome both long-term internal partners, and single-event partners looking to use our space and location to bless our larger community.


Our approx. 35,000 square foot building has ample space to share, including a Sanctuary, Chapel, large event hall, and many multi-purpose classrooms. We'd love to talk with you about how we might work together to meet your needs, and the needs of our community.

Our Internal Partners

Palabra Miel is a hispanic church in the Kansas City area that encourages our members to grow in and follow Jesus Christ. Join them for worship Fridays at 7 pm and Sundays at 5 pm. You can learn more about them by calling (816) 491-9836.

Uplift Worship Center is a new church being physically birthed in the Kansas City, MO metropolitan area. Our mission is to provide a place where the hurt and hopeless will have their faith restored and receive the call to be ambassadors. You can check them out further at upliftwc.com

Our External Partners

Caring for Kids is a partnership between school districts and community businesses, services, and churches to help support kids and schools to make a difference together. St Luke's partners with Truman Elementary School providing mentoring to students, support to staff, appreciation events for both students and staff throughout the school year, as well as other assistance as requested/needed. From hunger to homelessness, CAC works every day to help our neighbors move from crisis to stabilized,  for healthier individuals, families, and community.  Learn more at cackc.org

Mozambique Initiative is a covenant partnership between churches in Missouri and Mozambique Africa. Missouri churches provide financial support, connection to their covenant partner, prayers and help fund wells, chapels, schools and medical facilities to support their covenant partner and the Mozambique Initiative. St Luke's partners with Pembe UMC and has helped raise funds for them to have a well dug and a chapel built. Learn more at mzinitiative.com.

United Methodist Committee on Relief responds to natural and manmade disasters worldwide with emergency services, disaster relief, recovery and rebuilding efforts. To learn more go to umcmission.org/umcor.

Uplift Organization is a mobile street outreach for the homeless of Kansas City. Three nights a week, we take four Sprinter vans loaded with food, clothing, and other essential supplies out to the homeless.


We meet them at parks, under bridges, at their camps, or wherever they are. We typically serve 250-400 people each night and we never miss a night! Find out more at uplift.org
