SUNDAY SCHOOL INFORMATION

St. Luke’s offers two classes for youth to participate in during the Sunday School hour from 10:00 – 10:55 a.m.

Grades 7-8 meet in Room 208

Grades 9-12 meet in Room 207

Both youth classes use a variety of resources to examine the Christian faith.  Youth will discover that the Bible is alive and relevant to their modern day circumstances and is the key to learning how to live a Christian life in today's world.

UNITED METHODIST YOUTH

COME join other youth having fun as we grow in Christ.  Bring your friends.

GROW in your love for Jesus through the study of the Bible, through prayer, and through building a caring fellowship.

GO & let your light shine into the world as you share God’s love with others.

Everyone in grades 7 through 12 is invited to gather with other youth in a Christian Youth Group on Sundays.

Throughout the year the youth participate in several service projects and special activities, including retreats, lock-ins, dinner theater, special programs for Christian holidays, along with alternating a musical or mission trip each summer.  The youth sponsor several community events each year, such as: Easter Egg Hunt, & Safe Halloween Party

The parents of the youth are included in many activities and are always welcome.  The youth also participate in the District, Conference, and Jurisdictional Youth Ministry Programs.

All youth who want to be part of a group of Christian friends are welcome to join us.  If you have any questions or need more information you may call the church office.

WHAT IS YOUTH MINISTRY?

The purpose of youth ministry is to love and care for youth where they are, by listening and encouraging them to develop their relationship with God.  Youth group provides opportunities for nurture, growth, and fun while challenging youth to respond to God’s call to serve in their communities.
