St. Luke's Welcome from Pastor Keith Morgan
Dear Friends,
Welcome to St. Luke’s United
Methodist Church. St. Luke’s is an exciting multicultural and multiracial
congregation in Southeast Kansas City. We are known for our warmth and
welcome. Come and see. If you are looking for a spiritual home we invite you
to give us a visit. We have three services of worship each weekend. At 8:45
on Sundays we offer a traditional style of worship. Then at 11:05 we provide
a Contemporary Service – complete with great music by our Praise Team,
drummer, guitarist, keyboard, and all. On Saturdays at 5:00 we offer a
smaller more intimate worship service in our Chapel. It’s a casual service
and we invite you to come as you are.

Upcoming Events St. Luke's will be a host site for Project Transformation this summer from June 9-July 31. This program will run Monday-Thursday from 9am-3pm for children in grades 1-5. The program includes reading, math, science, Bible stories, crafts, field trips, and more. For more information, visit their website at www.projecttransformationkc.org Founders Day is July 13th. We will celebrate our 48th birthday here at the church by honoring our members. Everyone is welcome to join us for worship then a catered lunch at 12:15 Vacation Bible School will be July 14-18 from 9-12. This years theme is Surf The Scriptures. Registration starts for children age 4 through grade 6 on June 15th.

GROW as disciples and to SERVE the needs of the people in our community.
Being involved in Christian
Education and Missions is a high priority. We also offer day care and day
camps, Sunday School classes for adults and children, a great Youth Ministry
for our youth.
Whether you are a first time
visitor or a long time member, we are glad you are visiting the St. Luke’s
