StaffLead Pastor: Londia Granger Wright
Pastor Londia Granger Wright came back to St. Luke's on July 1, 2010. She served St. Luke's as a student local Pastor from 1999 - 2002 and was the Associate Pastor from 2002 - 2005. From 2005 - 2010 she served as the Lead Pastor for Waynesville UMC. She received her Master of Divinity from Saint Paul School of Theology in May 2002. St. Luke's is blessed to have Londia back as our Lead Pastor. Musical Director: Keith CuringtonA sought after clinician, soloist, adjudicator and consultant, Keith J. Curington is director of choral activities at Park Hill High School, a growing and comprehensive choral program in Kansas City, MO. Before arriving in Kansas City, he spent five years as associate director of choral activities at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln where he conducted Concert Choir, All-Collegiate Chorus, Big Red Singers and taught courses in music education. In his position at Nebraska, Keith shared the administrative and programming responsibilities with Director of Choral Activities, Peter A. Eklund. He also served as associate conductor of University Singers, the premier choral ensemble at UNL that performed at Carnegie Hall. Other Musical Staff:

Donna Gregory has a bachelor’s degree in Education and a master’s degree in Guidance and Counseling from University of Central Missouri. Donna taught French for five years in the Raytown School District. She taught 10 years in our preschool program before becoming Director of Childcare, Preschool and Summer Day Camp in 1994.
Donna’s family includes her husband Bruce, two adult daughters and their spouses, and four grandchildren.
Youth Ministry Director: Jason Dattilo
Jason has lived in the Kansas City area and attended St. Luke's for most of his life. He was a member of St. Luke's Youth when he was in high school and has assisted with the youth group for over 10 years. He has been serving as youth director since April 2010. He has a degree in education and is a former teacher and also currently works for the public library system.
He has a passion for working with youth and helping them grow spiritually and develop life skills and morals to live a Christian life.
Adult Ministry Director: Sue Kemp
Communications Coordinator: Angela FlemingAngela and Tim joined St. Luke’s with their sons, Tyler and Reece, in 1997. Angela volunteered as the Team Lead for the Visual Team for seven years before accepting the part-time Communications Coordinator position in October, 2010.
Angela has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a master’s in Business Administration from the Rockhurst University Executive Fellows Program. Angela has 15 years of experience in Communications and Advertising with Western Auto, Sprint and J.P. Morgan that she enjoys being able to leverage in the pursuit of communication excellence at St. Luke’s.
Her goal as the Communications Coordinator is to support St. Luke's members while helping to make new disciples of Jesus Christ by consistently and regularly communicating St. Luke's mission, vision and community outreach opportunities.
Mission Ministry: Sue Love
The Love's transferred their membership from another area UMC to become members of St. Luke's UMC in 1998. Sue has served on Missions for ten years. As Director of Missions, Sue is responsible for guiding outreach and service opportunities for the church as a whole, working with the Mission team to help educate and involve members, coordinating efforts to connect with local agencies to assist in providing needs and setting up service opportunities, promoting offerings and in-gatherings to connect the church with community, regional and global needs.
Sue has worked full-time as a Physical therapist for 36 years. She is married to Bob. They have two adult children, one son-in-law and two grandsons.
Facilities Director: Jerry Cornell
Jerry started attending St. Luke's in the mid 80's and became a member at that time. He is retired and has a farm east of Butler, Missour, spending time there tending black angus cattle. Jerry tells people that he is a hobby farmer who really enjoys working there.
Jerry's responsibilities at St. Luke's include serving as the Facilities Manager. His duties include keeping the church and parsonage in good working order.
Jerry and his wife Carol blended their families when they married in 2002. Jerry has two married sons who have six children. Carol has three married sons and five grandchildren.
Jerry's hobbies include sports, golf, fishing and working at the farm. He and Carol's #1 priority is their 11 grandchildren.
Church Secretary: Andrea McMurry
Andrea’s family joined St. Luke's in 1977 after they left the Navy. She and her husband Andy have been active members ever since. Andrea and Andy have three grown children and six grandchildren who are their joy. Andrea began working as a part-time secretary at St. Luke's in 1985 and assumed the role full-time in 1992. She has worked with several pastors over the years and appreciates the variety of gifts and graces each brought to our ministry.
In addition to her office duties, Andrea is active in the Children's Ministries through teaching Sunday School and working with the LOGOS Ministry. She serves on the United Methodist Women's Board. Her participation in the Book/Video Group gives her even more opportunity to pursue her love of reading. The lively discussions in Book Group and Bible Studies keep her growing in her faith.
